Seems that northern Laos had a little less electricity than I expected. But I'm back in civilization now with oodles of time, electricity and food in my stomach and am just raring to write. So, instead of giving a concise summary of the past week in Laos, I've decided to disregard all readers other than myself and give a day-by-day account of March 17 to date, leaving out few details and giving an insufferably long account of the past week.
